I took off by paramount airways on 2nd of march @ 9 30 with my destination as Ahmedabad. Though this was not my first experience by an aircraft , I was very excited about my journey because of the most important factor “ I was traveling alone” ( in the absence of my parents to pat me).Wooh! Wat a different kindaa feeling ! “Hey galy you are grown up now. You have to take care of ur baggage.. You are responsible for everything you carry ! Gabardaar!” I told these golden words to myself and boarded the flight.
In contrast to my previous aircraft journeys which had three seats on either side, this had only two seats on either side. This was a pretty descent shock for me as I had one of my friend and her father accompanying me and I had a nice plan to share the third seat with them. Alas! All in vain.. Nevertheless I told “ Hey this is a learning experience buddy. Come on! You too have legs to stand on your own” and this made me to neglect the seat offered by my friend's father.
I sat beside a gentleman who on seeing my excitement offered me his seat(supposed to be a window seat). He introduced himself as an engineer (textile & manufacturing) . We had nice chat about various things and especially fabrics in Gujarat.He even suggested me couple of places to visit during my stay in Ahmedabad. We had nice breakfast that was offered during the journey. I never knew that I had to wait for another 45 days( my next trip to Chennai) for the Delicious chatnis and soft vadas,upmas (as couldn't get anything of that sort during my stay in Studio Apartments)
Though flight journeys don impress me a lot it was nice to test my confidence and motivate myself to be a better grown up even if not a perfect one.I had good experience to check in, get the board pass and have a security check,all by myself in the absence of dad or mom patting me always.. KUDOS!!!!
